The station is passing over southern Mexico, which is visible in the background. Thanks for sharing all this, Mark These are screen captures from the spaceflight simulator ORBITER, which is available on-line for free. It can be a little tough to get going with, but with a little practice, you can fly the space shuttle yourself. I have done some processing on these images to bring out some of the detail and do all the maneuvering and camera angle selection myself. Clear skies to you.
