It runs on a Windows computer running ASCOM software for mount control. It starts a server process on the laptop that appears to Sky Safari as a SkyFi interface. I plan on using my iPad running Sky Safari Pro to control my ASCOM attached mount. I will be able to select targets, slew to target and do RECALs (Astro-Physics safer version of SYNC) from my iPad while my laptop screen is dedicated to PhD and Nebulosity. PhD is using ASCOM to send guiding updates to the mount via pulse guiding.
