Quarter inch thick red oak with box joints. Need to do some sanding then glue together and see how things look but this is a rough picture with it just snapped together. Need to cut the rest of the parts for the lid with the laser then assemble, sand, stain, and see how it looks. This prototype is only 8x4x4 inches to see how things work out with laser cutting the wood. Need ID or OD depending on how you want it mounted, focal length, clear aperture and diameter of any central obstruction that may exist. Laser cut from 1/8 inch acrylic and several mounting options available. Felt on the edges for inside tube mounting (may require a prototype and a delay in delivery for new scopes), foam ring for over the tube, or nylon bolts in 4 places around the edges.
