Arizona Science & Astronomy Expo
Held at Tucson Convention Center
November 10th & 11th 2012
After successfully running the North East Astronomy Forum and Telescope Show for the last 15 years, and with much demand from the industry and public alike, my team and I agree.
What better place for a west coast NEAF than sunny Tucson.

Yay! Great time to start it, right after I move out there! Is there a site or email list to get more details as the time approaches?

No doubt this thread/forum right here will have info updated (Alan is so good at that), and there's also a Facebook group, if you do Facebook.

ASAE will be competing in the current economy for west coast attention with (at the very least) SCAE, PATS and RTMC. RTMC is in May and has been about dead vendor wise for some time now. PATS is in September and was not well attended by vendors last year. Hoping for better this year. SCAE is extremely popular (for a smallish event) and is in July (that is next month, be there or be square). If ASAE is a go, then I'll be there!

And to start off the day, I am extremely happy to announce the addition of Mr Adam Block and the Mt Lemmon Sky Center. Mr Block will be hosting the ASAE's Imaging Workshop. Details to follow, but looking like it will start with a tour of the UofA mirror Lab, followed by 2 days of hands on imaging on the mountain...WOW!!!!
