Transit of Venus - Timelapse Video
      #5292850 - 06/28/12 08:50 AM

After a few weeks of time, several hours or work, and a bit of hair pulling I finally finished my timelapse transit video. I hope y'all enjoy the final result as much as I do!!!

I do not post often in the solar system imaging forum but thought you may like to see this video. I have seen some amazing images and some animations on this forum. Unfortunately the combination of seeing, the vibrations of the roof mounted fans, and the crowds of people walking around didn't help in producing crisp high resolution images.

In any case I am happy with the results and can go on with life knowing I observed and imaged both transits in my lifetime.

Images for video were captured from Sherzer Observatory with my 8" f/4.9 newt (w/full aperature solar filter) & modded 350D.

Transit of Venus 2012

Clear Skies,
Jason
