A little late but the latest issue (Issue No 4: April-June 2012) of the quarterly research magazine “UnderOak Observer” has been posted to my observatory website. This edition contains a photometric analysis of two main belt minor planets (201 Penelope and 360 Carlova) which was recently published in the Minor Planet Bulletin, a mini-report on the supernova SN 2012aw still visible in M95, and an in-depth study of the Algol-like variable star AO Serpentis. Again, I welcome the opportunity to collaborate on research projects with any like-minded individuals and look forward to your comments and critical thoughts about the contents of each issue. As always, any raw data published in the UnderOak Observer can be obtained by sending a request to mail@underoakobservatory.com.

Lars, Rich, Gavin:
Thanks again for looking.
Rob:
UnderOak is my privately owned backyard observatory which has been operating since 2007. Although recently retired from pharmaceutical research after 40+ years, I'm still dedicated to scientific investigation although now my laboratory is just a few steps from home. It is entirely funded by me, however, if you are interested in donating a Paramount ME to the cause, I would be more than happy to accept such a generous gift
