What is on tonight?

I am sure this has been brought up before, and certainly sky-charts would be a resource, but are there any internet sites, or internet planetariums that tell you what objects, including NGC objects, will be good objects to look for on any given observation night?

I realu enjoy playing around with the stellarium.
I guess now I will have one extra piece of equipment (laptop).
Does any one know if there is a manual available for this program? Also, if anyone knows, what is the best setting that corresponds to " WSIWIG" (what you see is what you get)?
thanks!

yeah google seems to do the trick. but not having to sift threw some poorer versions. I watched this U-Tube video and the tone , or lack thereof made me want to jump off a building.
