Finally some decent Jupiter images with detail.
Recording a bunch of 'flagging' Jupiter's over the last few months now and was glad with this result for now..

Yes, some real detail starting to show through with these images Freddy - congratulations..!
I'm hoping to image in the morning and try to hang in there till around an hour or so after sunrise when Jupiter reaches a staggering almost 34° down here.....I'm wondering what yourself and others do re settings during daylight imaging, particularly with the blue channel and gamma: any pointers for beginners..?
My instinct is to drop gamma to the lowest value but I guess I'll just have to experiment to find an optimum combination of settings.....

Hi Darryl,
Well I start dropping the gamma to 70 (DMK TIS capturing software) and wen it gets brighter even to 60 and 50 till it gets to fuzzy. You can even minus an off Jupiter sky image to subtract the bright sky, but when I have a good run then I do not bother with all this, right now I'm experimenting with daylight capturing, the sun is up and I still can see Jupiter clearly in IR742, at this point I do not bother capturing in RGB...try to capture as much rotation as possible now..
