I cannot find an SAO number for it and thats what my CGEM uses unless I dont know all of its features which is VERY possible. Thanks as always. For bright (binocular range) stars like U Cam, the A or B scale charts work best. (9 degree or 3 degree fields) U Cam is easily found from its position relative to the arc of brightish stars just to its north. The arc of brightish stars is easily found (in binoculars) by imagining an equilateral triangle pointing northwards with alpha Persei and the Double Cluster at its other corners. Not much in Camelopardalis is easily found but this is one of the exceptions! "Kemble's Cascade" is close to the other end of the arc of stars and is worth a look on its own account.
