The landing happens a week from Sunday right after midnight (so Monday morning early). Man I am sweating this one This is SO important.

It is 1:30 or 2:30am local time next Sunday night when it is happening, but I am debating whether or not I will stay up (or set the alarm). Interesting to know if it will be live-covered on TV - I would like to PVR it and watch it with my 6 yr old son who is a big space buff (maybe not tell him it already happened... one of those little white lies that I would be okay with).

Yes live coverage starts at 11:30 EDT on Sunday night. As someone whose Dad cut lots of bedtime slack to watch space missions, I'd say give the little dude a chance to see history
