Looks like you were interested in that mount last October, too.

Are you talking about the compact dual head alt/az mount they sell for smaller scopes? I have one of those that I purchased at TSP this year.

Pros
light
small
generally well made with a solid feel
slo-mo controls generally smooth (except below)
set screws securely lock

cons
slo-mo altitude control jitters easily if out of balance. Balance is critical with this mount.
leg compression collars kind of tricky to unscrew properly to extend legs

For what I wanted, this is really a very good mount with a solid feel. I can put two small to medium scopes on it and feel secure.

I would recommend using long Vixen dovetail rails with your scopes so you can properly balance them, otherwise you will get hard jitters when you dial the altitude against the weight.

Fully extended, the mount lets you observe from a normal chair height. This is not a mount that you can easily stand and observe through for long periods of time. It is great for public observing parties for the shorter observers.

A reasonable mount for a reasonable price.
