illuminated reticle eyepiece

hi, just got a mitty wedge for my classic 10" lx200 f6.3. i dont know how to properly do polar alignment yet and cant really practice at home, have to wait until the next star party in a couple of weeks, but thinking ahead, will i need an illuminated reticle eyepiece for drift alignment? if so, any recommendations? ive been considering the meande 9mm plossl (07067) with adjustable crosshairs, due to its short focal length. trying not to break the bank on this as its probably not ever going to be used other than alignment. any thoughts?

Can't comment on quality, but if you are going to use it all the time buy one, if you are setting up on a pier, borrow one. I have used mine once only and now it just sits there in a box with no friends

i dont use the scope at home, i take it to star parties once a month, so each time ill have to setup and align. found a nice deal here for the 9mm meade plossl for $39 so i purchased, not too much damage. thanks for advice Gavin
