Working night shift tonight and kids are at school - a good time to take a leisurely view of Venus in the daylit sky. Used green and yellow filters to observe some nice albedo features under steady seeing, fresh coffee at hand. An easy find, just 2 hours behind a lazy moon at almost the same Declination....

Ian,
This is a lovely capture of Venus. I have not pointed a scope at it since it was in Transit. How quickly it has reached the end of crescent phase.
