Setting circles for Astrotech Voyager new
      #5360614 - 08/09/12 08:11 PM

Hi everyone,

I came across this thread Link

A little ways down you'll find an example of some DIY setting circles for a Portamount.

I was just curious if anyone knew of a template like this for the AT Voyager.

Thanks!

That is my mount. I made those degree circles using this web site called "http://settingcircles.robertwillet.com". Cost is $15.00 per year.

Thank. But looks like that site is no longer around. I did run across this:

http://www.oregonruleco.com/dials.htm#setting

There's some promise there, especially the degree strips, but the shape of the mount is making me scratch my head.

Anyone else have any ideas?

Yes that cone shape is not very conducive for stick on degree strips or circles. You could use a digital inclinometer for alt but the az is a head scratcher for sure.
