One small problem I see is an illusion that is created by the position of the 3 gold-colored fighters. Right now, it looks like the 3 of them just flew out of the docking bay on the wing of the ship, but that can't be right since they would then be too big.
I'd suggest moving them to a different position to make it clear that they are MUCH closer to the viewer than the huge starship.

Superb - i particularly like the lights in the main ship, and the earth in the background. I never thought one could get so much detail in a digitally created image.

Me either when i first bumped into this website where i now have my gallery posted....i was AMAZED.....and still am....by all those incredible digital artists that FAR exceed my fledgling skills...but I'm sticking to it!
