And, yes, how I agree: The good things of the summer Milky Way do come to an end so quickly.... especially when the conditions haven't been that good for much of the summer.... which is the case so often in this region. Glad you enjoyed the article! We had some good views of the area from Stellafane two weeks ago. Saturday night was especially dry -- a summer oddity for VT -- so the objectives of my 25x100s stayed clear the entire time. Can't remember a recent year when that happened!
