Telescope Reviews: Altair TMS Heavy Duty Universal Saddle Plate Clamp

Hi there, here's the new black anodized version of our Altair TMS Universal Saddle Plate Clamp.

It's directly compatible with the iOptron iEQ45 (it bolts straight on) and it's compatible with (accurately machined or original) Losmandy-format or Vixen-format dovetail plates with a dual channel able to accept both formats without damaging or scoring your hardware.

The black anodizing is very hard, and has a slightly glossy finish. The clamp has PTFE risers and is spring loaded for ease of use. The tip in design avoids you having to slide your OTA in from the front or back. We use stainless steel threads and aluminium only. Altair TMS is made in the UK, in Norwich. The engineering is absolutely top quality and all products are hand polished and deburred when they come off our HAAS CNC milling machines, before anodizing - for a beautiful finish.
