I bring you greetings from Upstate New York and from New Moon Telescopes. We are pleased to be making our Cloudy Nights debut with the announcement of the grand opening of our website! Until today, NMT has been focused on bringing those in and around the Syracuse, NY area excellent views with our premium dobsonnians. Demand now has us opening our online ‘doors’ to the rest of the world, and we invite you in to stop in and take a look around. www.newmoontelescopes.com
NMT handcrafts mid to large aperture dobsonians with a focus on craftsmanship & optical excellence. Our scopes feature primary mirrors from Lightholder Optics and secondary mirrors from Antares Optics, both tried and true by many for their quality optics.
There are currently a number of great dobs being produced, but we have two distinct features that set an NMT apart.
First, the finish is comparable to a fine piece of furniture, ensuring it looks as good in your living room during the day as the views you’ll see through it at night.
Second, we have an innovative collapsible truss system that enables you to set up or break down even the largest of telescopes in a matter of minutes.

Good web site. One thing - it would be nice to know the weight of the components for each size telescope. We're not getting any younger, ya know.
