Hello Members, I'm down to the final mile here. Many thanks to Bob and others for their input/education. I've narrowed my purchase options down to the air pressurized system of the Lunt (80mm) and the mechanical pressurized version of the Richview Coronodo (90mm). I'm opening up the inbox here. If you were to choose between the two which one would you purchase. It's going to be one of the two, I would most appreciate any final input. P.S. I'm leaning towards the Lunt...

I would too, mostly on the basis of the support from Lunt being stronger than that from Coronado/Meade.

I've never had or even looked thru the Lunt, nor the new SM 90; but my old model SM 90 is one large, heavy beast at 23 pounds. Fine instrument, but big, very big. Don't know if that matters to you.

I have a Lunt LS80THa/B1800/PT/FT. It's is very good. I highly recommend it. It's not very heavy and is quite portable, though not as portable as say a smaller 60mm scope. I usually use it with the DSII (double stack) module. In that mode it is even better. I have been using it with an Atlas EQ-6 mount, but it doesn't really need that much mount all by itself.
