The red and green colors look quite striking on the black tube.

I hope you don't mind me asking, but what is an "anastigmatic" lens, and does it mean the others are astigmatic?
Are there any spot diagrams to illustrate the benefits of the R30 lenses?
Is there a minimum Strehl value guaranteed?

Might be best to email Mike directly Mark. I suspect Anastigmatic refers to reduced off-axis astigmatism - it seems to be a bit of a rubbery term.

Anastigmat- free from coma, astigmatism, spherical aberrations. The best between achromatic and APO?

Aplanat- corrected for spherical aberration. Stellarvue's little 80mm sure was nice.
