ele-Optic - GIRO-Ercole - the all new sturdy Alt-Azimuth Mount
The new GIRO-Ercole can hold up to two telescopes at the same time. With a loading up to 17.6 lb itīs not necessary to use counterweights. Maximum is 40 lb each side.
With heavier equipment itīs possible to mount a counterweight shaft at the opposite site (optional). Than you can load up to 40 lb.
Like normal, the telescope and itīs center of gravity can be adjusted in the tuberings. With the optional prism-clamps you can also use telescopes with a dovetail.
The new GIRO-Ercole is manufactured of a strong aluminium alloy on modern CNC machines. It can be mounted on allmost all tripods without any problems.
The GIRO-Ercole mount differs trough the new radial/axial bearing without lubrication. Inside their are high quality plain bearings which counteracts the rotation and a lateral load. Furthermore the support points and length of bearing has been extended significantly. So the mount can carry more weight. Also the finish and some cosmetically changes completes the overall picture.
Delivery contains:
Mount (without Prism Clamps) Packaging
Optional available - counterweight shaft - dovetail deluxe clamp with safety shoe from Berlebach
