Does anyone know if the OTA is removable from the little table top single arm semi dobsonian mount that the Celestron FirstScope comes mounted on, and if the OTA is removeable does the mount have a dovetail for mounting other OTAs? I want a tabletop mount for a different small OTA and thought the firstscope's mount would be perfect if I can take the original OTA off it. I know for sure that the similar Orion Funscope has an easily swappaable OTA with a dovetail, but from pictures I;ve seen the Celestron OTA looks to be attached differently from the Orion version. Where I live the Celestron is more easily and I think more cheaply available than the Orion. Cheers.
