Hello again
Here is Jupiter from Saturday morning. Seeing was not great, quite blurry but not boiling or jumping around. There were a few sharper moments when some detail could be seen
Not much to report on this face of Jupiter. The Great Red Spot had just set when I started to observe, the recent asteroid impact area was on the disc, but no marks could be seen.
There were a few dark streaks protruding from the Northern Equatorial Belt into the Equatorial Zone, and a little darkening on the corresponding edge of the Southern equatorial belt. The south temperate belt was quite dark on the PM side of the disc. I could not make out any ovals or other activity.
The SEB looks redder than the NEB, which is quite orange, and has a north-north component these days.

I think my 09/09 drawing was too orange. I sometimes don't spot things like that til it's scanned and on screen, by then it's too late.

Nice work, Chris and thanks for posting that you looked for residual signs of the recent fireball on Jupiter.

Nice sketch, I recently saw a loop festoon that made a complete circle which started from the NEB and came back around almost touching the NEB again. You convey what can actually be seen to paper very well.
