Which Ascom driver for HEQ6PRO new

Hello

I'm trying to connect my SynScan to my laptop.
I do have the RJ11 cable.

I am trying to find out which ascom driver I should use.

I have checked Ascom website but non seem obviours to me.

Can someone help me locate these?

Hello,
You need a Serial->USB converter, plug it into the synscan's rj11 port (you have the connecting schema in your manual). Afterwards you must put your synscan in pc-direct mode. Install ASCOM 6.1 (http://download.ascom-standards.org/ASCOMPlatform6SP1.exe) and EQMOD and you will be (hopefully) able to connect to your mount.
Or instead the Synscan + USB/serial adapter, you can buy an eqdir adapter.

Uh...not really. To just control the mount through the HC with a computer you do NOT have to put it in PC Direct. That is ONLY for EQMOD.

OP: You want the Celestron driver. Install it and you will find one of the mount choices given in the chooser will be Synta (right at the end).
