It's really low cost, perfectly Fastar compatible, has the reputable Kodak 8300 sensor, active cooling and the AFX software is a relative breeze for imagers looking to graduate from DSLR's. Processing is a challenge for imagers, especially when starting out. I've tried going through Celestron Tech Support but they haven't been able to help. Any idea if there are any plans to update the drivers or firmware for the original Nightscape? I hope the introduction of the version with a different chip isn't a result of problems with the performance of the initial version. Do you know if there will be any pathway for purchasers of the the original Nightscape to upgrade to the 8300 version? Thanks in advance for your help.
