No chance to do more sketches as the clouds were vere present. I just had the chance to capture this flare.

Great work, André. I am still waiting for our star to erupt a little bit more. With my 60mm I am afraid these proeminences would look so small it would not be worth a sketch. But with your 152mm they do look pretty interesting!

I caught 3 new sketches of 25th sun. I'll post them tomorrow. I did a new type of sketch, the sun spots at 300X with pressure tuner detuned like in white light. It's pretty nice. You are right, they are not very big and high magnification is needed.

Do you need to keep the sketch sheltered from direct sunlight as you sketch?

I try to keep in the shade while sketching. With a dome, its easy. I turn it to make the scope into the direct sunlight as me I'm still in the shade. Sketching on a white sheet in direct sunlight is a real paint. I loose my dark eye adaptation for faint details on the sun.
