The removable pouches on the sides hold a diagonal &
9 -1.25 EP's or a diagonal + 4 - 1.25 & 4 - 2' EP's

it is about 8 inches shorter than the original.

Seriously, I like the looks of it. I've always felt that the case for my NP101 was bigger than it needed to be. I'm assuming that the padding in the little pouches is plenty thick and sturdy enough? I'm referring specifically to the padding between the scope and the eyepieces/diagonal when the case is closed.
