Below you will see a photo showing the UA millennium mount (parallelogram type) with my Oberwerk BT 100mm and the UA heavy duty Unistar mount (Alt-AZ type) with my Miyauchi 22x71 Saturn’s. No I have yet to get a weather envelope to check the Miyauchi's out.. Sorry about the quality of the photo (much to busy) but hopefully you can get the idea of how things look on the mounts. Attention Ed Z.

Dan

dan,
how did you mount the BT100 to that parallelo? I don't see a way to put the mounting attachment on anything but the supplied tripod?? Is that a special order to change out the base of the BT.

Ed,
Sorry but I am a bit confused. Are you asking two questions or just one? I can send you a close up of the attachment that Oberwerk sent me that goes on the bottom of the BT 100 and mates with the arm of the Parallelogram or I can send you a photo of the item that goes on the tripod that allows you to mount the parallelogram to it. (Sleeve) I apologize for the lack of detail in the photo but these things take up some space and it was difficult to get them both in the field of view so did the shot from above. Let me know what you want to see and I will endeavor to photograph it.
Respectfully,
Dan

Dan,
Binocular to parallelogram is what I'd like to see. You are aware I just got a pair of the BT100s. They have there own built in mechanism built into the bottom of the binocular that is used to mount them to their own very distinct mounting post. I've looked them over and have not seen a way to mount them to anything else.
I just reread your post and you mention an attachment used to mount to the pgram. that makes sense. Don't remove all the mechanism from the bottom of the binoc. Just slip in a special adapter that allows mounting to a pgram. Is that correct?

Ed, If you go to Big Binoculars.com which is Kevin's site(Not sure if Cloudy Nights will allow me to put the link directly in)then click on "Binocular info and support"-then click "User Guide Hints and Tips"-then click on "set-up instructions for the millennium mount" you will be able to see the new bino attachement and also how to remove the one that came with it.
