I start a new thread here, because from here on we talk no more about a design and whats maybe happening, from here we start talking about real sample.
Today Nr. 1 was shipped to my TNT, total cost of the Nr. 1 is $ 9,850 , because the tooling cost has been includet.
I should have it around middle to end of next week in my hands.
than I will measure all mechanical specs and update if needet and get it opticaly tested on collimator, by interfeormeter and under real sky.
This is a production sample, not a pre version. Of course I call it test sample, because its the first sample.
If I am able to confirm everything is fine, there will be chance that we can start shipping first samples to customers for christmas, still 3 month time.
If it arrived in perfect collimation to me, its a first good proove, then I will ship it normal way to Mr. Rohr for testing and if its arrives there in perfect collimation, then its a proove 2 for stable cell and good packing.
So Lets cross all our fingers

If you get a chance, I think we would all like to see a few actual photos of the scope when it arrives.

Well that's a good thing, I am shure Wolfgang will turn this thing inside out, and if there is the slightest problem with it he will tear this thing to pieces, but hey, that's good, if it's really any good at all he will tell it too off course....we'll see... About collimation, does it have push-pull screws in the cell?
