We are pleased to introduce our new high precision robotic mount « NOVA », equipped with Direct-Drive engines.
Engines are directly mounted on axes with no additional connecting-part or speed-reduction machinery.
The very-high-resolution encoders used to drive the engines encoders (26 milliseconds of arc by step, providing more than 48 million steps per revolution) allow a very high pointing and tracking accuracy.
The mount includes an Ethernet interface, which provides network reliability and connection capabilities. The mount operating software supports both standalone and ASCOM-protocol-controlled modes, making the mount easy to control using any mount-driving software

Here is a small picture of our Direct Drive mount "Nova 120G".
The telescope is a SkyVision OTN 400 (16" Observatory Telescope Newton).
It is a "heavy" Newton of 60kg. In this configuration, we have tested the mount at 15°/s, and the tracking accuracy is still of very high quality.

Here's a new video of the nova 120.
We will present all our new products in Paris (2nd-4th of November) at the "Cité des Sciences" during the great french astro show (RCE)
