It looks like they placed the ETX-90 telescope on a slightly modified ETX-60/70/80 mount. (If I recall right the ETX-60/70/80 mount was configured to run on 9VDC though it could really run on 12VDC). This model also comes with the #884 tripod, which is really nice, and the #497 controller. I'd say that at $399 this is a good value. I think the portable observatory version has even better value since for $70 more ($469) you get the added hard case and the 9.7mm Plossl.
