I am looking for a mount <$500 which can hold a 10" LX200 SCT. Mostly visual...maybe some webcam/basic photos.
1. Some used fork and drive on wedge replacement?
2. A used GEM and dovetail?
3. Any decent CG5 LXD75 comparables?
4. Just save up for something else?
Recommendations appreciated.

This is a heavy scope. I would say EQ6/Atlas on G11 dovetail.
These are available in the non goto version once in a while on the used market for ~$500.
Focusing a webcam on anything lighter than this will likely result in some measure of frustration...

Yes an Atlas would do it, but as mentioned, it would be best if it had the G11 plate adapter.
And while Atlas mounts show up from time to time for this price, they rarey show up for this price with the G-ll saddle plate for this price. I think people put the original one on when they sell the mount and re-sell the adpater if they don't re-use it.
Might be hard to hit the budget, but again, I agree 100% that the Atlas would be the right size mount.
