Stunning sketches, André! I can say that solar imaging with a camera would not improve the details you can reached in your sketches. Believe me!
BTW, Good idea to make a link to this forum for the solar forum guys!

I'm sure you have not seen the very faint prom on the far left side of the second sketch. Use CTRL + to zoom your browser to see it. Some faint details are invisible in normal view but are when zoomed.
Jean. Yes, I thought it would be a good idea about advertizing the solar section because some guys goes only in this section and are not sketch's section visitors but they like to see all done about sun.
And believe it or not, I remarked today that some faint details are disappearing from the original sketch when processed to the color version. I'm loosing very fine lines.

In three days on october 13th, that will be two months later I started sketching the sun already. Guess how many sketches the 3rd one of this serie represent since ??? Seventhy five !!! Woah, that's a lot, I didn't realize that. I flooded the floor ehehehehe.
