When the mount slews in the RA negative, the mount does not stop precisely; it drifts a bit and then slowly comes to a stop. Whereas for the RA positive and DEC positive/negative it is more precise and comes to a stop more quickly.
To fix this issue with the RA negative, I need to increase the anti backlash to a setting above 30. However, now there is this clicking noise that occurs when the mount slews in the RA negative. The clicking causes vibrations which then causes major problems with my autoguiding. The higher the antibacklash setting the louder the clicking gets.
I have called Celestron Tech Support twice and they do not hear any clicking noise on their setup with antibacklash enabled and set to a high value. They recommend to send the mount back, but then it would take over a month to get the mount back 
Has anyone dealt with this issue before?

Adjust the backlash. If you go the CGEM Yahoo Group, there is an excellent document on how to do it; It was written by Mr Thomas of DSP.

The first thing to try is definitely adjusting the worm spacing. As pointed out, the instructions are in the Yahoo Group files. You can also send me an e-mail and I will send them to you.

Worm adjustment remove clicking noise and make mount more precise (factory, this mount have near 2mm backlash)
Furthermore, you may update firmware to newer ones, as now my mount slew with a lot more fluidity, start slowly and up the speed to max, before the mount hit the motor every time I input correction (always to max speed at startup)
