I recently had a pier poured for my new Paramount MX mount.Unfortunately the contractor somehow messed up the orientation of the bolts in the pier base and now when I bolt the pier to the base it is not pointing north. I know I can cut the bolts and drill and reset new bolts, but I hate to drill into recently poured concrete. Does anyone know of an adjustbale pier adapter that I can bolt onto the top of my pier to with adjustable azimuth so I can correct for the pier offset?

Wouldn't it be easier to add the new "adapter plate" at the bottom of the pier?

For something this custom you'll probably need to find a local machine shop that is willing to do small one of a kind jobs. It won't be cheap.

Maybe try preciseparts.com. They specialize in "adapters" for astronomy.

Can you make the bolt holes in the bottom plate slots - like those in the Bisque Pier?

Nobody who can cut, drill and weld plate steel? No welders? Bummer.

There is one machine shop, but they only do HUGE projects. I live in the middle of nowhere.Good for astronomy bad for finding things you need. Thanks for all your help.I am going to buy an adapter plate for Bisque and figure out a way of attaching it to my pier.
