Sourcing for perpendicular L bracket???
      #5477962 - 10/18/12 11:15 PM

So I'm trying to put together a fun little rig for kids/outreach. I have a cheap little GOTO and a spotter with a built-in color monitor. I need to combine the two. So an L bracket is in order. Problem - the nature of the mount is such that Orion's Dovetail L-Bracket (part # 05052) and Celestron's Synta L-Bracket (which I strongly suspect is the same part re-branded), will not work.

Turns out, what I need is this part:

But of course this guy is sold out. Anyone know of another supplier of this kind of L bracket?

Hmmmm... Looks better made, but the price, ouch. The arm might be too short, I'll have to call for dimension. With a short 1/4-20 thumb screw added to the ANG3 to mount the spotter and then bolted to the EDQ6, it could be the business. Thanks!
