Jupiter from Arizona - 20 October 2012
      #5481276 - 10/21/12 01:01 AM Attachment (70 downloads)

Seeing was mostly fair with some good moments. Never long enough to cover all the filter channels however.

At least 3 brilliant eruption points in progress in the NEB which continues to be quite turbulent. Shown here is also a turbulent EZ.

Captured with a Flea3 using FireCapture 2.1. Processed with AS2! and R6, color image combined and aligned with MaximDL.

As always, thanks for looking and any questions or comments welcome.

Cheers,
Glenn

That's a beauty Glenn!! Nice processing! Wish we had these circumstances here in the North of the Netherlands, it's always cloudy
Thanks for sharing this one!

A most creditable result Glenn, certainly a shame that the seeing didn't hold up for all 3 channels but still a smörgåsbord of well resolved detail.

Regards
Trevor

Thanks guys!

Over an hour earlier I captured this image. Seeing was only fair but managed to beat something out of it! It shows the orange coloration in the EZ which has drifted into this aspect of the planet now. Or is it everything else on the planet drifted away? Same effect I guess.

Glenn
