Beautiful image.
In particular, I would guess that to be Io just inside of the limb, and it looks almost like a marble! There is a very real sense of depth to the image with Io in this position. You really see that it is suspended in front of the Jovian globe.
Again, lovely image. Thanks for sharing.

Some more outstanding images from you ZZ - I have been travelling North and not seen any internet images for 4 days.....these are also top-class images..!!!
I read your reply to one of my Mars thread just a moment ago - I think you'll like FireCapture very much.....I'm hoping now that I'm somewhere where Jupiter is a bit higher in the sky I might be able to get something worthwhile with the ASI120MM..!

Ah, the color then is a bit warm. Visually, Ganymede appears gray/sliver to me, but Io always appears with an Amber tint.
Are you sure that this is Ganymede? Did you run a simulation on it?
Anyway, my mistake. It just appeared to have Ios warm color.

I made the same suggestino to someone else recentlly... Your capture and processing seems really excellent, but I think you are leaving some resolution on the table and that you could imply more focal length. making the image 50% larger will double the resolution you are getting from the camera.
I would love to see the result you get if you increase the image scale on the chip.

I use FL near 7m now. Do you mean I should use 10m ? I think that will very hard. The Jupiter will dim and capture speed will slow(due to USB2.0 speed limit). May a 10" telescope capture large than F30 impossible, and simple resize to 150% by sofeware will better than capture it? Any suggests welcome. I just learn how to shot Jupiter. Now it is a 150% sample, and less warm.
