Jupiter 23rd of October new
      #5489480 - 10/25/12 11:28 PM Attachment (52 downloads)

I've imaged this one on the 23rd on a very good seeing (some predictions said 0.95 arcseconds). Captured with Celestron C8@f/25, DMK21AU04AS, 30fps, 2000 frames/channel (of which I used half), Astronomik RGB filters. I hope you'll like it and thanks for looking.

Very nice image m5 - especially for a C8..!

Whilst many go for "super-sizing" when sometimes it isn't appropriate, this image is definitely "undersold" and "under-sized" as far as its' capabilities go.....another reason to be chuffed with it - congratulations!

Most excellent. Looks like the dark spot below the GRS is impacting spot BA!

Maybe the best image of Jupiter I have ever seen with a C8. Outstanding...

Thanks for the kind words, everybody. I've done a new processing using a different routine and this is what I came up with...
