Abb,
Do you know of the CG4 and CG5 have the same top? I had a SkyTee 2 on a CG5 tripod.

Do you have a CG4 tripod now? I can send you a picture of the top of a CG5 if that helps.

Yes Mike I do have one along with the Orion Pier. If this CT mount will fit on my CG4 I'd like to get one

Abb,
Here is a picture of the top of the CG5 tripod. It is right at 5" across and has an alignment pin over the north leg. For the SkyTee 2 I had, this pin needed to be removed. The threaded rod that holds the accessory tray attached the mount to the tripod. Not sure about the diameter/treads of this rod.
The way I remember the SkyTee 2 was that the base was about 3" in diameter and it sat on the top where the paint is worn. Not the best photo - sorry for that.
If the CG4 tripod won't work, you may be able to find a used GC5 tripod. The SkyTee 2 I had was very stable on this tripod. I used it with a C8 and a 10" Newt. The Newt was pushing it a bit but I did love the mount.

If you have the Orion SVP mount extension attached to your CG4, then the Duo-T should fit. I have the same Orion extension on my CG5-GT mount, and I am pretty sure that I could use the Duo-T on it as well.

But a used CG5 tripod would be about the same price as the Orion extension and you get the benefit of the 2" legs of the CG5 tripod.

Thanks for the pic Mike!!! After looking at it, it occurred to me as Doug mentioned, that it will fit on the Orion extension as I now remember reading somewhere that the extension does fit on a CG5.
Many thanks!!!

Woodland Hills Telescope seems to have removed the Duo T from their site. Anyone know of another US supplier for this mount???
