Here's a Night Vision binoviewer. Provides the Ultimate DSO viewing - especially of Globulars, Edge-on galaxies, and diffuse nebulae like the HorseHead (via an H-alpha filter).
This is a PVS-7A/C housing with a c-mount adapter and a c-mount to 1.25 inch telescope nosepiece.

Trust me, this combination is awsome, and viewes are really SUPERB!
It is not heavy much as it is in standard setup, MkV originally screwed ring + Baader #T2-16(Baader #16 Adapter from 2" to T2) + Baader T-2 Quick Changer # T2-06 2456313!
In this helps a LOT costum made 2" adapter that screws directly on Mark V body, so setup is much lighter, much sturdier, much more back focus reachable....many pluses in this setup!

Denis, this is the first NV Bino I have ever seen that attaches to a scope. I have a Russian made monocular that is fun to use, but not the best generation. Is this thing very expensive?

Simply, you can test GPCs vs BARCON, I do that, and sell all my GPCs!

Also, Baaders GPCs cause vignetting in some eyepieces! Simply try BARCON vs GPCs!

I dont want nor need x2 magnification
I use a SIEBERTS zero mag OCS system in my 2" TV diagonal and the Baader T2 bayonet clamps my Mk V's right on top....with a pair of 14mm Delos for about x200 mag or 24mm Pans for around x110...Delos 10mm's for higher mag when seeing allows....

To make this work, you need to cobble together a few parts.
Actually there are TWO U.S. PVS night vision goggles that can be attached to a telescope. Both the PVS-7B/D (most common unit) and the PVS-7A/C (more rare these days and out of production) can be used provided that one replaces the standard 1X front objective with a c-mount adapter. After that, all one needs is a c-mount to 1.25 inch telescope adapter. The price for a Gen 3 tube new is around $2K. The PVS-7 housings can run from $300 used to around $900 new. The c-mount adapters cost between $50 to $75 new.
Also, Gen 3 image intensifiers are restricted to the U.S. by ITAR laws. However, Gen 2 intensifiers can be had in many countries. The PVS-7 housings accept the MX-10130 intensifier tube format which is available in both Gen 3 and Gen 2.
