Cool. I'd love to see a slot (perhaps a removable section in the front wall that hooks in place) that would allow this to be used with a dob. Also, is it narrow enough that one person could reach across the middle to pick the entire observatory up to rotate it?

Had the scope out last night...really clear, beautiful views from the comfort of my AstroShanty. It took less that 10 minutes to set-up and less than 15 minutes to strike it and stow it! Check it out @ astroshanty.com

In a word...yes. You just sort of lift and move it in the direction it needs to go. It is very light. I have also considered rollers or rounded caps for the bottom. We will be posting some videos to demo a lot of these features in the next few days so please check back often!
