Here are some pictures from AIC this last weekend (I'm in the first picture with Marj, Roland, Howard, and George from AP).

I also got permission from Roland Christen to post a video of a speech he gave about new AP products (including the 1600GTO mount) in the Sponsor updates part of AIC. Astro-Physics was one of the AIC sponsors.

I see a bunch of pics of a Hyundai
Dang. And I thought the SBIG artificial star meant they would project a laser into the stratosphere to create a real artificial guide star... the reality is much less impressive. Merely gets rid of differential flexure.. something the OAG already does.

I guess I don't know what you mean by Hyundai??
I think the point is that you can use a much wider field of view guidescope, almost guaranteeing that a guide star will be available, which is not always the case with an OAG.

Ray I meant the Celestron pics (har har har...)
Agreed regarding the artificial star, it is definitely an improvement however it is not the artificial star that the professional observatories use for their AO (which initially is what I thought it was).
