Hi guys,
I have a CGEM mount and I'm having difficulty with placing the hand controller. I have the standard bracket on the tripod legs but sometimes you're watching on the opposite side of that bracket, and I used Velcro but I didn't like it too much. So do you have a better solution? Tell me! I picture says more than a thousand words

Velcro with a sticky side on the HC and on the double female RJ45 and a velecro 'cable tie' strap attached to that. The rubber bands hold a dew strip to keep it warm. I hang it on the altitude or azimuth adjusters.

As much as I don't like the holders, you could buy a second one (through the Celestron website) to put on the other tripod leg.

Have you bought the new tripod spreader yet?
Works on Sirius, Atlas, or CGEM mounts. Probably others too.
This provides 3 slots so you can put the hand controller on any of the 3 sides of the tripod.
You might consider the cord extension too, I got mine from Scopestuff.
