The same October night Linda and I grabbed the moon for a sketch we also went for M11. The binocular view and an introduction is on the blog site. There is a link to the page with all three sketches and a story about how we teach and observing and why. There is religious content and we deal with origins, so don't go there if you don't want to.

Sorry we did not say thanks...been on the road with limited internet. Should be observing again in a few days as we have to test a donated system that will be going to another country. Hope to get some sketching in as we work the system a bit.
