I've been observing the Moon and Jupiter with one of my small telescopes, a 6" f/8 Orion SkyQuest XT6 Dob. The Lunar X and Lunar V are nicely visible at the moment. I started out to get pics..then dropped the camera. gaddabit.... Amazing how easy it was to observe the "V" and "X" even in bright afternoon Sunlight. The 50MM Finder was the only optics that I had to work at to observe with. Lunar north is up. Best I have ever seen and I was just using my 80mm. There was another X type object just below it too, but thinner I think. I was binoviewing with my TEC-140. Very very cool! Rob Thank you Rob! I just use my little Cannon S100 camera mounted on a Celstron digital camera adapter. It screws over the outside of the eyepiece. You adjust the telescope to best focus for your eyes and let the camera do the rest. The lighted side of the moon is a bit over exposed.
