Spectacular image.
I was out a couple of nights ago an posted my Jupiter observations on the Solar System forum, and your picture does an excellent job of capturing the amount of detail that I as seeing visually..
But in a C14!
Wonderful image for a 6" scope. Applause.

Thanks Cheaper, Asbytec and Eddgie. I probably leaned a little heavier on that image than I should have, but I think the trade-off on detail/sharpness versus natural/smooth in this particular case was worth it, as leaving it soft this time would have left hidden a lot of cloud features that IMO are interesting, and tiny resolution-wise, that I was happily surprised to see from the old 6".
And to Eddgie, I sometimes imagine what I could do with a C14 (and even sometimes dream of bigger, but of course the atmosphere and thermal issues becomes big factors, but it's fun to dream.)
Regards, to all, Jason W. Higley
