Seeing was supposed to be 4/5, but the seeing was a bit funky and hard to get detail out of some of the images. I normally do some wavelets + deconvolution in post processing, but I gave some linked wavelets a try in R6 and it seemed to come out better. Anyways, below is an image with a few of my captures. Jupiter 11/8/12 by zAmb0ni, on Flickr For funlike I also took one of Glenn's images from the 7th and Flava's image from the 9th and compared it to the captures I had on the 8th, just to show how much the cloud patterns changed: Finally, I have always wondered if I am getting the most out of my images that I have captured. So I have uploaded a stacked image of 1000 frames that can be downloaded and wonder what you guys can come up with You can download the stacked .tif here! I've taken you up on your processing challenge mostly because I always fear the same thing. I figure if I post something worse than everyone else, maybe I'll learn somethiing. So: wavelets in Registax 6 RGB align in Registax 6 Photoshop: curves, saturation, despeckle I usually use a high pass filter but found that it really garbled the image.
