Been many years since I've been to Mt. Wilson. I'll have to check it out at some point.

You're welcome.

Information on observing with the 60" Hale telescope is available at http://www.mtwilson.edu/60in.php

Technical information on observing with the 60" can be found at http://www.mtwilson.edu/60-inch/AdvancedAmateurInfo.pdf

The cost is only $900 for half a night and $1700 for a full night.

My visit to the Palomar Observatory is chronicled at http://www.cloudynights.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/5555014/page...

As it turns out, the refractor is indeed an 127mm Explore Scientific refractor, an Explore Scientific ED127 Air-Spaced Triplet.
