Don't know if I posted in this thread or not..
Some old pics:

And might as well include eyepiece collection as well.

I used to have a LX200, but I had to sell it. Needed a car and starting college soon, you know how it goes.

Finally have my Cat set up the way I envisioned. C11 with Feathertouch focuser, Starizonia Rotating Back, IEQ45 with Berlebach Planet tripod.

Nice tripod!
The EQ head looks a little small for a C11.
Whats the load capacity?

Steve

45# I think, it is a clone of the AP mount in that class, would handle C11 just fine, and has 6" RA gear and 4 way clutch locks.

It's the iOptron IEQ45. It handles a C11 with ease. It has a 45 pound load limit, my C11 loaded up is about 35 pounds. With the new Berlebach, vibration is basically non existent.

Some fun with my "new" C14...

Insanely extended counterweight shaft (I use shorter for real use):

Mini-cooler attached to one of holes left by the fork mount:

I skipped this deal (just the C14) a couple of months ago; fortunately an observing buddy of mine picked it up and added the C8 - which works surprisingly well with the tangent arm setup!

Last night was the first time I had the chance to use the setup - star hopping with it isn't as bad as I'd imagined it to be, and there was almost some regret I didn't scoup it up earlier - until it was time to pack it all up But he does manage to setup and tear down single-handedly if the need arises - I think my limit's closer to a C11.

That's definitely a beast! There was someone relatively close to me who had one for sale earlier this year, but I just couldn't pop for it. I don't think it was in usable condition though.
